Washington DC is served by 3 major airports — Washington Reagan, Washington Dulles, and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). Washington Reagan is the closest airport to the city center however generally the most expensive. BWI and Dulles are further from the city center but generally more economical. Both Washington Reagan and Dulles are accessible by public transportation.

If Amtrak is more your speed, Union Station is conveniently located and well served by trains from throughout the northeast.
